Absolute Beginners – Special attention is paid in this class to principles of proper alignment and becoming familiar with a variety of classic yoga poses to most efficiently develop strength and flexibility. A non-intimidating introduction to the principles of Hatha (or physical) yoga.

Beginners – Becoming familiar with postures and beginning to build a little more heat in the body by linking them together, improving stamina, circulation and well-being.

Intermediate – A flowing vinyasa-style class based on the Ashtanga yoga system. A challenging series of postures done in a heated room for maximum detoxification benefits.

All Levels – A vigorous class with very accessible poses that through specific instruction and repetition quickly become familiar. Suitable for those with some experience with yoga and for beginners in reasonable physical condition who enjoy a challenge.

Gentle–A relaxing yoga class with lots of easy stretching and movement to free up joints and restrictions in the body as well as breath-work to help calm the mind. Suitable for beginners and experienced students alike.

Kundalini – One of the more spiritual types of yoga, Kundalini has a special emphasis on cleansing and healing through the breath, meditation, hand positions (mudras) and repetitive sound (chanting). The sequences can be physically intense but at the same time are easy on the joints and quite suitable to beginners and people with restricted movement.

Restorative– These classes are suitable for any level of student and are designed to help heal injury, release tension in the body and encourage relaxation with the support of a variety of props, gentle movements and long holds in postures.

Yin– Yin yoga is a therapeutic and quiet practice characterized by stillness and long holds of floor poses. It targets the connective tissues and joints of the body rather than muscle. It is a grounding and rejuvenating experience helping to cultivate greater ease in body, heart and mind. Meditation forms part of this class which is suitable for all levels including beginners.

Meditate & Restore– A variety of meditations and meditation styles will be taught for cultivating focus, personal insight and rejuvenation. Give yourself this opportunity to bring more peace, mindfulness and rest into your day.

Yin Yang– This class combines an active, alignment based slow flow of poses to invigorate and strengthen (Yang style) and a series of long, passively held floor poses to circulate “chi” or energy through the deep connective tissues of the hips and lower back (Yin style). This class allows these complementary practices to enhance our capacity for body-mind vitality and equilibrium. All Levels Welcome.

Intermediate Yin Yang– This class combines an active, alignment based flow of intermediate level poses to invigorate and strengthen (Yang style) and a series of long, passively held floor poses to circulate “chi” or energy through the deep connective tissues of the hips and lower back (Yin style). This class allows these complementary practices to enhance our capacity for body-mind vitality and equilibrium, as well as increasing our capacity for mindfulness.

Thank you so much for all of the wonderful classes, I really enjoy being part of them. You have given us all an amazing opportunity. — Pam
